My Early Life

Son of Paul and Susan, brother to Paul, John and Alex.

Grandson of group captain Sir Peter Matthews, DFC Queens Commendation. Squadron leader, Spitfire squadron 1 - (first in the air in the Battle of Britain.)

I made these works in memory of him

Bermuda Tennis Champion 1985.

I won the Bermuda National Championships in 1985. I went 2 sets down before coming back on wise words from my mother to win the title.

I went on to Harry Hopman's Tennis Academy that summer and was signed by Prince Racquets who sponsored me for the next 2 years.

Self taught coder in Basic at 14 years old. Built several games.

Started a business in Softmore year of college, programming electronic music festivals.

First year gross revenue $150k. Largest attendance 12,000 people at Butternut Ski Resort (Berkshires, MA). Headlined by Underworld, Sasha and Paul Oakenfold.

Opted to close business upon completion of undergrad under family pressure. 😜. Second biggest mistake.

My Higher Education. I left the UK to attend Boston University.

I majored in Finance and History.

Marlborough College, UK

1984-1990

I went to this Public school.

It was a fantastic experience! I was a full-time boarder from the age of 11 years old. Before leaving the UK i had a brief dalliance with the British Army, specifically the now defunct 5th Royal Enniskillen Dragoon Guards Cavalry regiment.

Appointed captain of the varsity soccer team at 16 years old.

Winner, British army Officer Cadets black mountains (Brecon beacons in wales) survival challenge hosted by Special Air Service. A grueling 78 mile 72 hour trek across mountains in extreme weather conditions.

Received Offer to attend RMAS for a Short Service Limited Commission with the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards cavalry regiment of the British army. I declined the offer for personal reasons in favor of attending university in the US.
