Ariel

 Ariel knocked on my studio door in his brown suit to deliver a package. He noticed some stenciled decks hanging on my wall. He asked if i skated and i said, sadly, i didn't!. My youngest son happened to be in the studio and they chatted. It quickly became obvious where this mans passion lay.

I quietly asked him to text me a picture of an action shot. He did.

3 days later, he came by to deliver another package. This work, a stencilled deck and the accompanying video were waiting for him.

So many of us are forced to ignore our passions. Life takes over. I'm reminded of a comment by someone who said "find your passion and go and fucking live there.....the rest will take care of itself".

It was my hope that by giving these works to him, this phrase would begin to resonate in his life.
